Refuge in Films Festival

The 7th Annual Refuge In Films Festival will take place on the 1st and 2nd November 2013 at the BFI Southbank.  One of the Connected Communities projects is a close collaboration between RefugeeYouth and academic researchers from three universities.  If you fancy going along for the Festival you can:

·  Learn about the work of RefugeeYouth – their achievements so far, and their dreams and plans for the future

·  Meet young people who are leading the projects across the network

·  View a beautiful photography and art exhibition created by young people working together in RefugeeYouth

·  See performances in dance, music, poetry and drumming from the young people and groups who make up the RefugeeYouth network (from London, Leeds, Hull, Middlesbrough and Birmingham)

Refuge In Films is a film festival lead by young people to tackle and challenge the misrepresentation of young people; migrant’s and refugees in particular. It will open your mind to real positivity, people, problems and solutions – find out more at www.refugeinfilms.org
